Picture book ‘MOKSU’ is about the carpenter who begins making his own coffin in preparation of his own death.
The story depicts that each individual’s death is created by our own moments in life.
Perhaps it can be interpreted that living through life is the process to death that is neither sad or depressing.
The story highlights inevitable death plus the awareness to take every life moment to be thankful being alive.
Truly living one’s moment. So that we are able to make our death a culmination of one’s glorious life.

목수가 살아낸 삶의 이야기는 그 스스로의 죽음을 준비하며 관을 만드는 과정 안에 모든 것이 담겨있습니다.
삶을 살아간다는 것은 어쩌면, 자신만의 죽음을 만들어 가는 과정 일지도 모릅니다.
삶은 영원하지 않기에 자신에게 주어진 삶의 모든 순간에 살아있음을 감사하며,
진솔한 삶의 태도로 그 순간을 헛되이 보내지 않기를 바라는 마음에서 책을 작업하였습니다.
